About this rug
Cabin takes the buffalo check of the Indian cotton towel and weaves it in charcoal-grey and ivory. The surface is flat and smooth. It is handwoven in India from recycled denim, so shades vary a little across the check. With no pile, it will not trap dust.
Living rooms and bedrooms with a country or workroom feel. Place it under a kitchen-adjacent table or beside a bed. A rug pad keeps it from sliding on timber.

Measuring. Leave 30–45 cm (12–18 in) of floor showing around the rug. Under a dining table, allow 60 cm (24 in) beyond each side so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.

Care
- Vacuum on suction only.
- Blot spills straight away with a clean cloth and a little cold water.
- Shake small sizes outdoors to lift dust.
- Turn the rug now and then so it wears evenly.
- Use a rug pad on hard floors so the rug stays flat and does not slip.
- For a deep clean, use a professional rug cleaner.

How long will my rug take?
Handwoven and hand-tufted rugs generally take 4–6 weeks to make and deliver to your home. Hand-knotted rugs take around 13–14 weeks.

Can I see the colour before I order?
A sample can help you check colour and texture in your room. Tell us which rug you’re considering and we’ll confirm the sample options and timing. Ask about a sample.
Will a new wool rug shed?
New wool rugs can shed loose fibres at first. Gentle, regular vacuuming helps. If you’re concerned about your rug, send us a photo and we’ll help.
How do I look after it?
Vacuum weekly without a beater bar, blot spills with a dry white cloth, rotate every 6–12 months and use a rug pad. Full care guide.
