About this rug
A slate blue Heriz medallion with ivory in the border and detail fills the middle of Courtyard. It is a flatweave with no pile, in recycled PET yarn. It is made by hand in India, so the medallion outline and border width shift a little between rugs.
Outdoor patios, bedrooms and dining rooms. The PET yarn copes with weather and spills, and chairs slide across the flat surface. It feels firmer than wool, so it suits a patio better than a bedside.

Measuring. Leave 30–45 cm (12–18 in) of floor showing around the rug. Under a dining table, allow 60 cm (24 in) beyond each side so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.

Care
- Vacuum or sweep regularly.
- Hose it down and let it dry flat in the sun.
- Spills wipe off with mild soap and water.
- Use a rug pad on hard floors so the rug stays flat and does not slip.
- Lift it in heavy rain so the floor beneath can dry.

How long will my rug take?
Handwoven and hand-tufted rugs generally take 4–6 weeks to make and deliver to your home. Hand-knotted rugs take around 13–14 weeks.

Can I see the colour before I order?
A sample can help you check colour and texture in your room. Tell us which rug you’re considering and we’ll confirm the sample options and timing. Ask about a sample.
Will a new wool rug shed?
New wool rugs can shed loose fibres at first. Gentle, regular vacuuming helps. If you’re concerned about your rug, send us a photo and we’ll help.
How do I look after it?
Vacuum weekly without a beater bar, blot spills with a dry white cloth, rotate every 6–12 months and use a rug pad. Full care guide.
