About this rug

Vertical stripes alternate between cut pile and loops, so the surface sits high in one row and low in the next. The colours are cream and oat with beige. It is hand-knotted in India from New Zealand wool, and the carved edges between the rows are slightly uneven.

A living room with a sofa on a pale floor, where the carved rows throw soft shadows in raking light. Equally at home under a dining table or beside a bed.

Care
  • Vacuum once a week on suction only, with the beater bar off.
  • Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub.
  • Wool sheds a little in the first weeks. Regular vacuuming clears it.
  • Snip any loose end level with the pile. Never pull it.
  • Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly.
  • Use a rug pad on hard floors so the rug stays flat and does not slip.
  • For a deep clean, use a professional rug cleaner.

Questions

Before you buy

A few things to know before ordering.

Talk to a rug specialist →

Are tax and shipping included?

Yes. Prices include tax and shipping is free worldwide.

How long will my rug take?

Handwoven and hand-tufted rugs generally take 4–6 weeks to make and deliver to your home. Hand-knotted rugs take around 13–14 weeks.

Can I get it in another size?

Choose “Custom size” beside the sizes above. Enter your dimensions and email, and we’ll confirm the options, price and timing.

Can I see the colour before I order?

A sample can help you check colour and texture in your room. Tell us which rug you’re considering and we’ll confirm the sample options and timing. Ask about a sample.

Will a new wool rug shed?

New wool rugs can shed loose fibres at first. Gentle, regular vacuuming helps. If you’re concerned about your rug, send us a photo and we’ll help.

How do I look after it?

Vacuum weekly without a beater bar, blot spills with a dry white cloth, rotate every 6–12 months and use a rug pad. Full care guide.

Do you work with interior designers?
