About this rug
Plain grey, flecked with ivory so it reads as heather rather than flat colour, and finished with fringe. The pile is low. It is woven flat by hand in India from recycled PET. Heathering is uneven by nature, so the flecking will differ across rugs.
Living rooms, and patios or covered terraces. Under a sofa or a lounge chair it stays plain, and the grey does not show outdoor dust as quickly as a pale rug.

Measuring. Leave 30–45 cm (12–18 in) of floor showing around the rug. Under a dining table, allow 60 cm (24 in) beyond each side so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.

Care
- Vacuum or sweep regularly.
- Hose it down and let it dry flat in the sun.
- Spills wipe off with mild soap and water.
- Use a rug pad on hard floors so the rug stays flat and does not slip.
- Lift it in heavy rain so the floor beneath can dry.

How long will my rug take?
Handwoven and hand-tufted rugs generally take 4–6 weeks to make and deliver to your home. Hand-knotted rugs take around 13–14 weeks.

Can I see the colour before I order?
A sample can help you check colour and texture in your room. Tell us which rug you’re considering and we’ll confirm the sample options and timing. Ask about a sample.
Will a new wool rug shed?
New wool rugs can shed loose fibres at first. Gentle, regular vacuuming helps. If you’re concerned about your rug, send us a photo and we’ll help.
How do I look after it?
Vacuum weekly without a beater bar, blot spills with a dry white cloth, rotate every 6–12 months and use a rug pad. Full care guide.
